Taddman22 0 Posted August 25, 2006 I'm in a 10 team yardage and TD league and can keep 1 player from last years team. If I keep one i forfeit a first round pick. Which one of these should I keep or should I just drop them all and hope a better option is available. Caddy, Edge, T. Jones, T. Owens, or R. Moss. I have the 7th pick in the draft. Thanks in Advance and will help yours if I can.
badassbroncs 0 Posted August 25, 2006 It depends on whos going to be kept by other teams but I would think that Caddy would be as good as it gets for a keeper league , go with him . Hes a decent 7th pick in a non keeper league.
Taddman22 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Just went through the teams in the league and tried to predict who would be kept by them. By draft order with possible second choices in (): 1- Rudi Johnson 2- LJ 3- Lamont Jordan 4- T Barber 5- Ronnie Brown (Portis) 6- S. Alexander 7- My Team 8- LT (Steven Jackson) 9- P. Manning 10- Julius Jones (Westbrook) These are just my predictions although I would think the 3rd and 10th might not keep anyone. Thanks

Thanks It's either Caddy or Edge and I think Edge has got his hands full in Arizona. I'm worried that Gruden will run Caddy into the ground again late this season, but seeing so many RBs possibly being kept your hand is more or less being played for you. In a 10-team, you should be able to come back in the first round with a good #2 RB....and with TOs antics in Dallas, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him fall to you at 7. Coming out of round 1 with Caddy and TO/RMoss would be a pretty good start.....

It adds quite a bit of strategy. I guess if the 5th player has to choose between Brown and Portis and you think Jordan might be available, that might make me consider dropping Williams and going for one of those. Portis's injury is pretty hard to predict though. Your league makes my "tough" decisions not seem so bad!
