Me_2006 14 Posted August 26, 2006 Well, you dont really NEED 3 QB's or 2 DEF's so you could either drop them to waivers or look to see what you can get out of McNair (maybe Plummer if you think McNair is reliable enough) and use the extra roster spot to pick up more solid depth at RB and WR. I'd get rid of Gabriel for an upgrade thats on the WW (Surely there is one?) and would probably pick up a better D off waivers too. Hope this helps some, Good luck. If you have a minute, please see mine. Thanks. Link
WeatherReport 0 Posted August 26, 2006 I have to agree, the core is good, but you don't need 3QBs unless you have a hunch on McNair. There's gotta be someone better than Gabriel in free agency. And drop one of the D's you don't really need 2. Upgrade on Gabriel and take a chance on a sleeper with your free spot from the D. I would say if McNair doesn't do something big after the first 3-4 games, go ahead and dump him--I'm sure if you really need him back and he's not doing great he'll still be available. The league we have is 18 rounds. I agree I don't need 3 QB's but he was there in the 17th and thought he was the best available player and I could use as trade bait later I am not High on Gabriel and he was my 18th round pick. In this deep of a league with keepers there is not much available. I'm taking a chance that he puts up some numbers being the #2 in oakland
