K Killa 0 Posted August 27, 2006 This is my first year playing fantasy, and of course I ended up with the first pick. I play in a 10 team league, and we start QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, RB-WR-TE, K, Def, and ST. I know I did pretty well in the draft, thanks to the DB, but I am wondering if i have any glaring weaknesses or areas that I should improve on. Here is my squad: QB: Hasselbeck, Plummer RB: Sh. Alexander, Westbrook, Chester Taylor, Frank Gore WR: Holt, Driver, Kennison, Matt Jones, Brandon Lloyd TE:Ben Watson K: Elam Def: Washington ST: KC Scoring is a little weird, with 6pts for all TDs, 1 for 10 rush, 1 for 25 passing, and -2 for fumbles lost. The rest I think is pretty regular. I appreciate any help, as I am not too sure of what I am doing!

leftyguitar 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Hey Killa! for your first draft, great job! You ended up with studs at each primary position. Your team is pretty similar to mine actually. (stud 1st RB great 2nd and backup, holt / driver WR combo (LOVE THAT) watson is a good TE, KC special teams can't go wrong with dante hall. hehhe. Hasslebeck is a top 5 QB easy. The only area I could see room for improvement is that 3rd WR spot... but not sure who you'd want to trade to get better. You can't afford to get rid of any RBs... maybe you could downgrade your backup QB? Package Plummer and lloyd, kennison, or jones and try to get maybe a leftwich, mcnair, and a WR in the Horn, Galloway, Evans range? Other than that, looks like you'll definately be a contender for the title, good luck!
