Trade analysis needed

I currently have good Depth at RB in LT, Willie Parker, Mike Bell and Thomas Jones. I don't think I am going to need all 4 during the season so I am looking to trade one for a defensive upgrade (SEA). Bell shares a bye with Parker, so I am looking to move him, plus his status with Tatum Bell is still a bit up in the air. Here are a few of the trades I have come up with.

I give: M. Bell, Seattle D

I get:

Trade 1: L. Marony (possibly good down the stretch as Dillon wears out), TB D

Trade 2: Chester Taylor, Panthers D (don't know if I can pull that one off really, Taylor and Bell seem about equal value)

Trade 3: S. Gado, Ravens (don't really like Gado and I'd like a RB with at least some potential)

Trade 4: Fred Taylor, Fins D (possible boom/bust with Taylor, Jax has a decent playoff schedule though, but are the fins really a good D upgrade?)

 

What do you think of these deals or do you think that Bell's pontential is enough to keep him through a few games of the season?

I'd stand pat. Seattle's schedule is very favorable this year. Plus, who knows if Benson will take over as the main man in CHI. If either of your first two backs go down, your depth will look alot different. Take this from a guy that draft McAllister high in the 1st round last year. I'm really liking M. Bell's potential to do a repeat of Mike Anderson's 2005 performance.

Strengthening an opponents depth at RB is never worth an increase in your defense. Trading must be viewed not only as what you gain but what your opponent gains, and a servicable running back is worth far more than 30 points over the course of 16 games from your defense. Mike Anderson finished the season as last years number 10 overall back, and there have been gobs of top 10 season from Denver backs. You simply cannot give up Mike Bell for a defense upgrade.
