mterui 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I have Bulger and Plummer and Carr and someone wants to give me TO for Plummer. I'm thinking Plummer might be worth the risk. What do you guys think? I have Cjohnson. CJ and TO would be a nice starting team (If TO comes through).
Pointguard138 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think I would pass on trading for T.O. in this situation. I think Plummer could have a good year now that he has Javon Walker and with that Denver running game, play action will be great for the passing game.
nyg617 0 Posted August 28, 2006 i would keep plummer. he is gonna have a big year with walker and smith. i would get rid of bulger first since the rams are looking to run alot more this year than in the past.... carr is a big ? this year
Ronald Mexico 0 Posted August 29, 2006 make the trade. If TO works out (I am from Dallas and I guarantee you that TO will not play a whole season here) your WRs alone will trounce other fantasy teams. Plummer will be better this year but he only had 17 tds last year so how much better is the question. TO is not even going to start if he comes back for wk 1. Even though TO may only play 3 games all year, Plummer isn't going to outscore your opponents qb more than 3 times anyways. Make the trade and find a free agent qb like Leinart or Kitna. boogaloobboy 0 Posted August 29, 2006 No brainer trade to take. I can't believe your even asking this question on here. Assuming passing tds count as 4, or even if they count as six its still a gimme. You are giving up your backup QB for a potential top 5 receiver here. Even if TO goes apecrap and you get 4 games out of him all you gave up is Plummer, who is inferior to Bulger in the first place and Carr is serviceable. Way to much upside here to not take this, the guy is practically handing you the league on a plate. yomamahates 0 Posted August 29, 2006 First of all. How the hell did you manage to get a team like that! Your team is amazing! We're you drafting with monkies? You have Chad and Roy??!! Your WR depth is CONCRETE. But I still agree with Boog, you're trading a QB you may use once or twice this season for a "potential" (notice the quotations) amazing WR. Look to see who his starting QB is, you may be helping him, and you may end up frustrated each week on which WR to start. Then again if he has an equal or better QB, its a no brainer. Snoopy 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I would take that trade in a heartbeat, trading a backup QB for a potential stud. Even if he does not work out you did not give up all that much.
