Smol0028 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I am already having a crappy FF year and it hasn't even started!! I lost greg Jones for the year so I need to add another player.....I am weak at RB but there isn't a lot left in the waivers. Here are some choices: Hicks Buckhalter Toefield Marty Booker Doug Gabriel Greg Jennings Vincent Jackson Here's my team: Bledsoe, Roethlisberger Fitz, Driver, Galloway, A Bryant, Portis, C Taylor, Betts, M Moore, Greg Jones H Miller Elam Bucs, Denver
clickclack 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think I'd let go of Betts and Jones. Get toefield and jennings out of that group you gave. lundy or morency aren't available, are they? thanks for your help on my thread.

clickclack 0 Posted August 28, 2006 who else can I choose from?
bhale 0 Posted August 28, 2006 who else can I choose from? These all may be taken, but have you checked: Marion Barber Cedric Benson Ron Dayne You could also just move down the Jags depth chart and pick up Maurice Drew. It's not as if Fred Taylor is any less likely to get injured now.
Camaro24 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I agree Betts and Jones aren't doing you any good. I'd say Buckhalter and Toefield. Just my .
dalie 2 Posted August 28, 2006 Is Buckhalter from Philly? If so I would look at him and Toefield. If not go with Toefield and Jennings. Please se mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225628
Smol0028 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Marion Barber -- gone Cedric Benson -- gone Ron Dayne -- may be cut from Denver teh Jags backfield gets really messy now.....I can't tell if the starter is Toefield or Maurice Drew
bhale 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I agree Betts and Jones aren't doing you any good. I'd say Buckhalter and Toefield. Just my .02 Camaro24, Who did you give up for Wayne? I'm looking to upgrade at WR in a 12 team league and would like to have that as a data point. Thanks
Matt mcgahee 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I'd say Toefield, Maurice Drew...also Samkon Gado if he is available. Someone else mentioned Marion Barber, though I doubt he is available. My advice would be to first go through and see if anyone who has a legitimate chance at carries is avaiable. If not, look at the RBs most likely to get injured or faulter throughout the year and grab their backups. Off the top off my head, you might want to find NE, GB, BAL, TEN backups. Smol0028 0 Posted August 28, 2006 what about V Haynes or Staley from Pit?? Should I grab Haynes??
GDogg 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Marion Barber -- goneCedric Benson -- gone Ron Dayne -- may be cut from Denver teh Jags backfield gets really messy now.....I can't tell if the starter is Toefield or Maurice Drew Grab Maurice Drew. He got 10 carries last game, and they didn't draft him in the 2nd Round for nothing. He's performed very well so far in the preseason, too. I have little doubt that Drew is the best RB on that roster, including Taylor.
notJames 0 Posted August 29, 2006 How many RBs do you have to start? If it's a matter of just having one extra back for a bye week, I think you'll do okay with a Mewelde Moore or whoever you can get off the wire. Just be patient and see how the season turns out. Guys get dropped all the time that you wouldn't expect. Someone dropped Donald Driver a couple of years ago, and after I snatched him up off the wire, it just about made my entire season. If you're really hurting now, try trading one of your WRs with Moore for a RB upgrade. Again, it helps to know how many at each position you have to start.
