Recommended Posts

Below is my feable team. I've gotten an offer for Cadillac Williams for DeShaun Foster and Deangelo Williams and Reggie Brown. Or Big Ben for Phillip Rivers and (either Ashley Lelie or Reggie Brown). Should I take up either of those? I feel like Cadillac is about the only consistent RB I have.

QB

Peyton Manning

Ben Roethlisberger

RB

Carnell Williams

Reggie Bush

Ahman Green

Fred Taylor

Kevan Barlow

WB

Anquan Boldin

Joe Horn

Drew Bennett

Troy Williamson

Amani Toomer

TE

Chris Cooley

Ben Watson

K

Neil Rackers

DEF

Buccaneers

Redskins

I dont know that you improve your team with the first trade. Its about if you want C. Williams or the Panthers running game. The Panthers are a run first team and should put up big running numbers, but will they be better than Tampa Bay? Not sure. Reggie brown will just sit on your bench and isnt even your 3rd best WR.

I would make the first deal if they gave you an upgrade of Horn at WR. Remember they are the ones who want the RB. So counter with asking for whoever they have better than Horn then make that deal. also take into account that you will have to drop a player. Who would you drop? I guess Toomer?

As for the second, SD plays SF in week 6 (Mannings bye week) which should be good for Rivers. Since you only play your Back-up QB 1 week a year and this week he plays SF and Ben plays KC I would make the deal. Bother recievers have about equal value though I may take Reggie brown as he has more upside.

Thanks Killer. Good call. I forgot about the drops. If I took the Carolina RBs I'd have to drop an RB too. I think I'll take up on the Rivers trade. Thanks for your input!
