seh2000 5 Posted September 7, 2006 who do I drop? Already have Ronnie Brown and Willie Parker, Reserves are: Frank Gore TJ Duckett (insurance for Portis) Michael Bennett (Insurance for LJ) I'm from Chicago and though it's frustrating what they are doing, I do believe that he will become the starter by week 4 or 5. Angelo spent a lot of dough and he only needs a couple good showings before he gets the nod. I can get him now for free without going through waivers, or when he gets the nod, try to get him through waivers. We start 2 RBs and no flex. Help... Leave link. SAdawgs 0 Posted September 7, 2006 If you think Benson is really going to be the starter, I'd drop one of your insurance guys for a "starter"... I've never been a Duckett fan anyway...

I am not convinced that Benson will be starting any time soon, so I would not make any moves at all. If you do decide to pick up Benson, I think you would have to drop Bennett. unckeyherb 2 Posted September 7, 2006 I wouldn't go for him but if you must, out of those 3 get rid of Bennet. Thanks for answering mine
Llexlon 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I'd drop either Duckett or Bennett.........if LJ gets hurt I think Bennett will do better than Duckett if Portis is out.......think Betts will still get some carries in Wash
hadji 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I'd drop Bennett. I don't think he'll be productive even if LJ goes down. If you don't agree with that sentiment than drop Duckett although he has been and always will be a goalline presence at least. I'm also from Chicago and I don't agree at all with handing the starting job to anyone who hasn't earned it (cough, Grossman). The Bears have a chance this year if they stop trying to get unproven young guys playing time like they're rebuilding. That being said I can totally see the Bears handing the job over to Benson once he's 100% healthy. I have T Jones on my roster on the off chance that Bears management gets wise anytime soon. That might be too much to ask for a stubborn GM who has been convinced that Grossman is all he needs over the last 2 years. Sorry for ranting. Lots of built up angst. I think I answered your question in there somewhere help me out with mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229344
