quentinfox 0 Posted September 7, 2006 OK... maybe I'm overanalyzing here, but here's what I'm thinking. S.Jackson: supposed to be really good this year, but I'm not totally sold on him. If their def is bad, they could still end up passing more than running. I think Denver will score on them this week. R.Brown: Like him, but playing Steelers... don't like that so much. R.Bush: Normally wouldn't start him in week one over the other two, but I've got a hunch the Saints will want to showcase him in their opener. What do you all think? Thanks for the help. I'll answer yours.
Eriadoc 4 Posted September 7, 2006 I definitely think you're overanalyzing. You most likely took Jackson and Brown in your 1st and 2nd rounds, and for a reason. Brown is facing a tough D away, in Pitt. But he has a good offense around him with a good coach. He'll get his numbers regardless. He's too big a part of that offense not to, but there's enough around him to keep Pitt honest. The Rams will be able to run on the Broncos. Their run D is going to be a bit weaker this year than last. Bush is completel boom or bust right now. If you want to take a chance on him, you could very well end up hitting the jackpot. The odds are not really in your favor, however. He's a rookie, he's sharing touches, the team around him has a lot of questions, and it's an away game in Cleveland. The Browns have a better defense than people realize. Please see mine - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229379
hadji 0 Posted September 7, 2006 But Ronnie Brown and Steven Jackson are concensus top 10 RB's. You have to start them especially over an unproven commodity that isn't even starting. Bush definitely has the potential to be better than both Brown and Jackson but at this stage in the game you have to go with your studs. Help me out: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229344
J-Money 4 Posted September 7, 2006 i agree, you drafted s-jax and brown in the first two rounds for a reason. Bush could use his supposed 15 touches like superman and get you a gang of points, but he could also get you nothin'... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229417
seh2000 5 Posted September 7, 2006 Jackson and Brown. Give bush and duece a couple weeks to see what's going to happen. Brown should have a good year this year. Pitt's D is good, but a little overrated IMHO. Thanks for mine, seh2000
BadMojo11 0 Posted September 7, 2006 With those 3 choices you have to go with the studs. Wait and see on Bush. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229459
Spoiler 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I agree. I have a similar concern with R. Brown this week but with your choices I would go with the most known for all of the reasons stated. Good luck!! If you can help me with mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229496
JTB 52 Posted September 7, 2006 Bush is making me wonder as well. I'm in a similar boat too with Jackson. Most tell me to play Jackson and Gore over Bush and McGahee. So if I were you I'd play the prooven ones - Brown and Jackson http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229498
