Bush over Gore?

No its not a replay of 2000 presidental election. Im talking about who I should start as my #2 back behind Larry Johnson this week.

 

I have been leaning towards Gore because he is the starter, but I have been looking and listening to some things and some feel that Reggie Bush could have a big first game in Cleveland. I even checked NFL Fantasy Extra this morning and apparently they believe that Reggie will have a bigger game than Frank based on total yardage.

 

Got me thinking that maybe this is a week where the High Powered offense of Arizona may get out to an early lead and SF will spend most of the time trying to play catchup, and even though Reggie is technically #2 he might have a bigger game considering the Browns couldn't stop anyones running game last year. Whats your take on this? Should I go with the potentially safe bet and choose the clear starter or take a chance on Bush considering I have Larry Johnson opposite of him?

With Johnson in the fold for you, I'd start R.Bush this week.

 

The Saints are going to use him a lot. Count on it!

Personally I would go with Gore at least until I see how much McAllister is getting compared to Bush. The Browns defense isn't as bad as it use to be and although Bush is an outstanding talent, I just don't know how often they'll give him the ball in his first NFL game.

I'd also go with Gore over Bush.

 

Gore should be getting more touches than Bush this week and I would think he'll score more fantasy points.

Start Gore unless u know for sure that Bush is not going to split carries with Duce.

NO way start Bush over Gore! Gore will have a MONSTER game, i promise! The coach for the 49ers said they want to run %60 and throw %40, and Gore will be the main guy carrying the ball. Bush may be splitting time, Gore will be your best bet
