Alright here is my lineup in my main $ league drafting from 10 slot in a 12 teamer...made some slips in judgement draft day and need help! Pimp It!

 

QB: Culpepper(doh!), Leftwich

 

RB: C. Williams, J. Jones, R. Droughns, W. Lundy

 

WR: S. Smith (ouch), H. Ward, M. Muhammad, B. Edwards, T. Williamson

 

TE: McMichael, Troupe

 

I think I need most help with following:

 

1) A better QB than Culpepper

 

2) An upgrade @ WR to keep me afloat while SSmith is injured

I think CPep will be OK once he finds Chambers. He did pass for almost 300 yards vs a very good D. I don't like either of your RBs. They both will lose carries to other backs.

It's kinda hard to make a suggestion. Who is available on your waiver wire? What is your scoring? What limits do you have in trades?

 

I agree that you need a QB but in a 10 team league you may have someone undrafted.

12 team, PPR, High Performance Scoring, no limits on trades.

 

 

 

 

Wire is bone dry for QBs - unless of course Carr, Collins, or Frye types constitute upgrades.

No need to give up on Cullpepper just yet. Yes, he failed to throw any TD's but did accomplish in throwing two picks on Thursday but that's hardly anything to panic about. The Dolphins came out throwing the ball. A big change from the fiedler days. In fact, the problem with having Chambers the past couple of years was that he didn't have as many passes thrown to him as other #1 wideouts so he was kinda spotty.

 

I got Cullpepper and I felt good about the game. You gotta consider that he is playing for new team and it's going to take some real live gametime to settle in. He's not some rookie so he should be able to get up to speed quickly. Also, they were playing the Superbowl champs in their house. No matter if it was Manning or JP Losmann. it's gonna be a tough game.

 

And the best thing is that he confirmed that he is recovered from his knee injury. That was the biggest concern with him. So just stick with him for the time being. He's got Chambers and McMichael and Booker ain't too shabby either. They also spread the ball around a lot which is good because the more guys they use the more guys can be open for him. He put up decent yards, if they play like that every week he'll easlily be one of the league leaders in passing yards.
