Things I Have Learned Tonight

1) Oakland is really really bad

2) Oakland is really really bad because they signed a really really really bad QB named Brooks

3) San Diego may have made a big mistake getting rid of Brees and trusting Rivers

4) San Diego doesn't trust Rivers

5) Thank God for LT2, or this game may have 19 combined yards for both offenses.

6) The Chargers DST are for real, and play TEN next week....

7) Gates may turn out to be a very bad 3rd round draft pick for some people

8) LaMont Jordan plays for a very bad team with a very very bad O-Line with a very very very bad QB. That equals trouble, no matter how good he is.

I'd wait a couple weeks before stating 3, 4, and 7. I can see the argument for SD not trusting Rivers...3rd and 8 and they run Turner, etc, etc. But Oakland has done absolutely nothing with the ball while the SD defense is all over them. Marty has always been conservative and with a 2 score lead vs an opponent that hasn't shown any threat, he's playing safe football right now.

 

Now, if this is still happening a couple weeks down the road I will completely agree with you. But right now, it's way too early to tell.

i was just coming back to say, i was wrong on 3, 4, and 7. rivers looks good the few times he has had to make a down the field pass. take it back, sorry.
