Ahman or Edge?

Recommended Posts

Who gets the start for the #2 rb spot (tiki gets #1)? I just don't see Edge getting much this week. Seattle has a good def, AZ's o-line is brutal, plus I have a feeling they will get behind and throw more than normal. Am I nuts for benching one of my top picks for a backup?

I think you are on to something. Ahman Green look pretty good in week 1 and will face a New Orleans Defense this week which have been trying to address linebacker problems.

I'd stick with Edge. Green had a good game (good enough for me to start him this week over Dillon in my flex position), but it's only one game and I have faith in Edge.

Thanks for helping with mine.

hmm im not a big fan of ahman green i would still play edge if it was up to me even though green has a favorable matchup but with green you never know if you will get someone productive or get someone who is doing nothing and edge has always been productive so i go with the more proven back.

Edgerrin is definately the more safe pick but Ahman this week holds much more upside. I think Seattle has something prove this week and we'll play very dominate against Arizona. Just due to his upside this week, I'd play Ahman Green.

Ouch! Probably go w/ Green at home vs. NO.

Edge had a bunch of touches last week against a lame-ass SF D, and didn't really produce but so much, you know? Plus, Seattle is a bit tougher, so I imagine Warner will air it out to Fitz and Boldin b/c the running game may be limited.

Tough call. Good Luck!

Don't expect the same performance from A. Green. If he ran for more than 100 yards against Chicago defense, it's because the bears went after Favre and covered the recievers. They took out the passing game giving A. Green a chance to run a lot but it looks like they knew what they were doing, meaning SHUTDOWN.

Still, Seahawks do have a great rush D so it's a tough one but I think i'd go with Green but you might get a different answer from me tomorrow. :dunno:

That's a very tough one...

I think I'd go Green this week, just on the matchup. Green is more likely to get the short-yardage TDs vs. NO than Edge is vs. SEA (I can see ARI throwing corner fades to their big receivers in that situation).

Thanks for answering mine!

my vote is for ahman! i can see arz getting behind here & having to throw more (excellent news for warner/boldin/fitz owners) & i just dont think edge will see many carries in the 2nd half of the game. ahman has a great matchup this week & gado is gone. ahman will be a good start this week IMO.
