Running back and WR issues

Recommended Posts

Allright my in my league I get 1 pt for every 10 yrds and 6 for every TD. Return yards are not a factor. Help me pick 2 of each.

RB:

Clinton Portis Vs. Dal

Brian Westbrook Vs. NYG

Chester Taylor Vs. Car

WR:

D. Driver Vs. NO

L. Evans @ MIA

J. Galloway @ Atl

D. Mason Vs. Oak

Right now I have Westbrook and Taylor as my starting backs because I think Westbrook can get enough recieving yards to give me a nice week and Taylor will get many more carries than Portis against a Defense that allowed 250 rush yards to Atlanta last week. Even though I got Portis very late in my draft I still am having trouble benching him..what would you do?

For my WR's I have Driver and Evans starting, I think Driver will get thrown at more than any of my other receivers and Evans had 3 TDs last time he played against Miami. Galloway stunk last week but I think he was a steal in the FA market and Mason is at Oak and I think that Baltimore will stick with running the ball...

Sorry this was so long but I just wanted to give my input and I hope to here your thoughts! Thanks

if they are all healthy, you're probably right on RBs - but watch the Westbrook injury, plus Giants more likely to shut down the run than the pass - so I'd lean to Portis and Taylor myself

agree on your 2 WRs - Mason could go off but Ravens could run all day vs Oakland - whereas Evans needs to go off to Kepp the Bills in the game, plus I think he went off last year for 3 TDs against Miami in 1 game

I would go with Taylor and Portis for now cause of Westbrooks injury even though its not a big one Bucky could see some more touches cause of it, and you got it right on for the WR's i think. Thanks for mine.
