Me_2006 14 Posted September 16, 2006 Alright, here's the deal. I need some help choosing my starters for this week. It's a standard scoring league, no PPR and we start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, a TE a defense and a kicker. The usual stuff basically. I've got some tough decisions to make, or at least it seems so to me. I think I might just be overthinking this though, someone help me out. Who do I start, especially in my RB and RB/WR spots? My roster looks like this. QB- Eli Manning Daunte Culpepper RB- Shaun Alexander Steven Jackson Warrick Dunn Frank Gore WR- Chad Johnson Randy Moss Drew Bennett Rod Smith TE- Alge Crumpler Vernon Davis D/ST- Falcons Buccaneers K- Josh Brown Ryan Longwell With the way Alexander struggled last week, Gore exploding, Moss having no help, Sjax being inconsistent, Palmers health affecting CJ, and the odd matchups my players are facing, I'm having a tough time just pulling the trigger on submitting my lineup. brust012 0 Posted September 16, 2006 You can't sit Alexander, especially against Arizona. At WR, I would give Moss another week before you dedice to sit him. Palmer will have a better week - play CJ. You can't really go wrong with your flex (definitely play a RB). No PPR league - I would play Jackson against SF. I think this will be a high scoring game and I like him in the one.... krulls 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I suggest: Tough choice @ QB - I'd lean toward Eli this week as he has a better supporting cast. RB - Alexander RB/WR - Jackson (although you should do fine w/ Dunn) WR - Johnson & Moss TE - gotta stay w/ Crumpler until we see Alex Smith become consistent for Davis D - Falcons K - Brown Good Luck! Terrorazer 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I suggest you to go with Shaun and Steven Jackson at RB and RB/WR. For your WRs, go with Chad for sure, and proabbly Drew Bennett. The Raiders suck so badly that I wanna just burst into tears because I hate them so much. Randy Moss, although a freak of nature, will only be as good as his QB is. And his QB isn't very good.
