grunyan 1 Posted September 19, 2006 I searched and did not find this topic, but I am not that great of a searcher, so bear with me. I am thinking way ahead to FF playoffs, and have Peyton at QB. I am not holding a backup QB, as my league only starts one and I think an extra upside WR is better use of the roster spot. I am planning on evaluating matchups for the playoff weeks (when Manning will likely be sitting) for my bye week pick up and choosing a QB based on playoff matchups at that point. I think this will give me a decent chance for some QB points during the playoffs, which I should make in my league of fairly sorry opponents. Just wondering if anyone has a better or different strategy to replace Peyton's points while he sits out the FF playoffs.
IN$TANT REPAY 8 Posted September 19, 2006 1. Trade him for the #2 Hasslebeck, #3 - #5 QB in the league. 2. Start your playoffs earlier, week #13 or #14. 3. Drop your worst WR after week #8 for a backup QB. BTW, the Colts have not made the playoffs just yet. And he has to survive the Jacksonville Jaguars....TWICE! Bratwurst 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Plus he has a bye week 6. Guess who plays the Cardinals that Monday night? Yep ... Rex Grossman. Grab him off waivers if you can.
