LDC02 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I have been offered T. Brady, D. Stallworth and S. Gado for B. Leftwich, Michael Clayton and Chester Taylor. Would you make this trade? We start two QBs each week, so they are slightly more valuable than in most leagues. Otherwise, we start 2 RBs, 3 WRs, TE, K and D. The rest of my team looks like this: QB: Grossman, Leftwich, Roethlisberger RB: Dunn, Taylor, Jordan, Jacobs, Parker WR: Harrison, Holt, Driver, Ward, Clayton TE: Crumpler, Baker K: Akers DEF: Pit, Mia The trade has nothing to do with the league in my signature. Also, the only reason I even have Chester Taylor is because the owner who is proposing the trade accidently dropped him while he was drunk. Should I take that into consideration? Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Puntarelli 0 Posted September 29, 2006 How many wrs do you start? you allready have solid 1, 2, and 3. Brady is the man, for sure (but i'm from Boston so a little biased) But for me, Gado for Taylor is not gonna do it. Taylor is a starter, and will get lots of touches all year While Gado is a number two (granted Dayne is #1) who will most likely be sharing carries if he gets any for the forseable future. If it were me, i would wait till next week, cause the Texans are supposed to get him more touches this weekend (if they don't fall to far behind) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238980

I think it would hurt your rb's too much and isn't worth it in your case.

andhraangel 0 Posted September 29, 2006 well thats a close trade, if u feel like u need brady than do it. i imagine qbs are at a premium in this league. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238997
Sportslitter 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I would take this trade. Brady is a proven stud. The qbs you have now are inconsistent young guns that have a history of getting hurt every season.
morecowbell 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Definitely make the trade. Taylor isn't going to start for you. You get a proven stud QB and a possible stud WR. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239024
SmilenJack 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I like what you have on the books, you could try and move one of your RB staight up for a QB but for now you have true depth at all spots but QB and can pick you RB starters based on their matchups.
bauman88 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I would hold on and not trade. see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238499
Madler 6 Posted September 29, 2006 I don't see why you need to make the trade. it helps a little at WR, but that is it. I would stick with what you have. I like Taylor alot. There is really no RBBC there.
