lkelly 0 Posted October 3, 2006 Say I want to drop player A for player B. If I don't get player B because I'm too low on the waiver order I want to make sure I get player C. Should I put in two waiver claims - the first dropping player A for player B and the second dropping player A for player C? I expect that will work fine as long as someone else picks up player A on the waiver list before me (and nobody grabs player C before me). The question is what happens if my first waiver claim is processed and I get player A. Will it automatically cancel the second waiver claim since player A is no longer on my roster to be dropped? Hopefully that makes sense. If anyone has encountered this, please let me know. I want to make sure I get one of those two players if possible. Thanks. doobious 0 Posted October 3, 2006 That is absolutely correct. What will happen is once player A gets traded he is no longer available on your roster, because you now have player B. If player B is no longer a free agent during the waiver process, whatever player you have quede to be traded for player B will be processed.
