manola 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Dynasty League (Point Per Reception): The guy who has won 3 of our last 5 league championships is trying to get Westbrook from me. His best players are all getting kinda old, and it's beginning to show. I'm getting sick of worrying about Westbrook's injuries, so I'm considering make him and offer. What would you consider fair to offer for Westbrook? His WRs and RBs are below: Betts, Ladell WAS RB Blaylock, Derrick NYJ RB Harrison, Jerome CLE RB Holmes, Priest KCC RB Johnson, Larry KCC RB Jordan, Lamont OAK RB Lewis, Jamal BAL RB Martin, Curtis NYJ RB Baskett, Hank PHI WR Colston, Marques NOS WR Cotchery, Jerricho NYJ WR Holt, Torry STL WR Johnson, Keyshawn CAR WR Jones, Matt JAC WR Kennison, Eddie KCC WR Moss, Santana WAS WR Ward, Hines PIT WR Thanks! I'll answer yours!!!
kcsportsguy 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I have been contemplating weather or not to trade Westbrook as well. I thought this would be his year to stay 100% healthy but not starting at the last minute really pissed me off, and should be seen as a sign that his actually health of that knee will be uknown, as well as a concern. I just don't understand how every week he doesn't practice and always listed as questionable. I would only trade straight up for him for Larry Johnson or Tory Holt. LJ would be a steal since he is young and really had his 1st "playing" NFL year last year. There is a lot of mileage left on him. Tory Holt is half way through his career but still will be a stud for 3-4 years. I say if he agrees to either, jump at it before Westbrook's stock goes further down. If not, hope for the best and try to deal him later in the year after a BIG game.

This is only if your strong at RB. If you need a replacement RB I would say larry Johnson for Westbrook, especailly with Westbrooks knee questions. LJ is healthy. Thanks for your help. MarkF150 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I personally would hang onto Westy for a little longer to see how he pans out and how his injurys go. If you are really worried you could wait till he has a big game to try and boost his trade value.
bunnerjk 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Which position do you need up graded more RB or WR??? He has no RB's worth trading for unless he'll give up L. Johnson. If you need WR's I would try to get Holt or S.moss and try to add Colston or M. Jones.
Illini4evr 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I'm going to take a little different approach and say try and get Lamont and a solid receiver such as Colston. Lamont will eventually pick up but for now his value is low. I have Westy myself and have been trying to figure out a trade worth while but for now I'm going to see how this week plays out, he really should be playing against Dallas seeing as how he hasn't practiced for so many days that his knee has to feel good by now but in your league I'd toy with that trade. I definitely agree with your approach here, and this is the angle I'd take as well. Good luck! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241664
