bearphin 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I have been offered Peyton Manning. But I have to give up LT. Here's my team: QB - Pennington, McNair RB - Both Bells, LT, Laurence Maroney WR - Housh, Fitz, Cotchery and Keyshawn TE - Winslow DT - Jax and Philly K - who cares If I do the trade, I will probably drop Mike Bell and PU someone (looking at Maurice Drew). Would also probably drop McNair or dangle him for another RB. What do y'all think - this might really help but I dont want to be kicking myself if LT goes off the rest of the season. Will help with your lineups/trade issues if you leave a link.
thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Can't say I would do it. First off, it's PEYTON (sorry, had to correct you). Second, would the upgrade from Pennington to Peyton be worth the drop from LT to Tatum Bell? I don't think so. Stick with your squad... ffsmack 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Wow, that is really tough. Its huge for your QB but hurts your RBs a lot. I actually don't think I would make the trade even though it is really hard to turn down Peyton. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241896
Vetman 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Look at the value based on the scoring of your league. Most leagues scoring would not give PM the same relative value as LT. I would not do it in my league, although I would love to have Manning. Thanks for answering mine!

smartgenius 0 Posted October 7, 2006 LT will be money--keep him and just be patient. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241914
lord_majesty 0 Posted October 8, 2006 LT will be money--keep him and just be patient. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241914 Running backs are usually the better score makers in almost every league. I wouldn't trade LT for Peyton. Espically in a keepers league.
