Braylon Edwards on Waivers

Recommended Posts

Non-keeper, start 3 WR, 2 RB and a flex. 1 pt per 16.67 yards and 1 pt. per TD. Extra point for 100 yds rushing or receiving. I'm a little thin at WR especially this week (Harrison, Fitz, Glenn, Galloway, R. Smith) but have a bunch of RBs (LJ, SA, J. Jones, Dillon, C. Benson, D. Williams and MBIII). Should I drop a RB and pick up Edwards? I like certain things about all the backs I have, but I'm locked in at the top 2 spots with LJ and SA so barring injuries most of these guys will sit. Of all of them, I'm tempted to drop D. Williams (even though I traded for him and had high hopes a few weeks ago). Dillon is steadier, MBIII is a nice handcuff and C. Benson has that easy schedule (and maybe more touches) come playoff time. Not to mention Williams is injured.

I could maybe try to trade a RB for someone better than Edwards, but I'm not sure if there's much better for me given what I have to offer. Besides, I've been making/offering trades like a madman lately and am afraid people are tired of hearing from me.

Any thoughts? Will answer yours.

[i am in a much less complicated league and can only view it from that standpoint]

It's a toss up. If Williams picks it up he might be 'worth' more later in a trade but, for now, you don't need him (and it doesn't look like you will anytime soon either). Edwards has been up and down but should steady a bit higher than his current average... I actually like his matchups coming up
