Ziro 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Im not a very big trader, usually live or die with my drafted team (Or waiver pick-ups) Someone offered me Colston for Fitz though and it has me thinking. Of course nobody is sure about Fitz's injury. My whole division is 3-2. My other wide outs are... Chad Johnson, Bryant Johnson, Greg Jennings, Travis Taylor & Brandon Stokley My thoughts are that even if Fitz comes back, I seriously wonder how good he will be with the rookie QB. But I also worry about Colston, since he is a rookie ... Im leaning towards standing pat (of course), but I am very very tempted.. Can I get some opinions, please
Trey5 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Interesting - you are going to lose 2-3 weeks of Fitz, plus hammy's are sometimes a ###### to get back from (Stallworth...). There is not a ton of info to go off of with Fitz's injury history, he could bounce back like nothing happened. Once healthy, I'm not worried about lienart getting him the ball. I'd say sit tight - Fitz is a stud and you have too little info on both Fitz's injury history and Colston's general history. see mine plz http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243913
The Hunter 0 Posted October 14, 2006 i'm in much of teh same predicament. i'd stand pat, unless you can get a package where the other two players involved are more in your favor to recieve. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243786
madd futher mucker 36 Posted October 14, 2006 This is a no brainer IMO.......and I have and love both players on my teams..........but if you don't know that Colston is the real deal by now then you don't know FF. If you don't understand that hamstring injurys acan recur and hamper performance the whole season, than you haven't played FF long enough. Fitz is now a very high risk. Trade him for Colston who is not hurt and is a low risk. It's that simple.
