C-Pep

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm one of the many frustrated C-Pep owners this year. Unfortunately, my other two QBs (Bledsoe and Plummer) haven't done much better. Do I drop Culpepper for one of the following or hang on hoping he can return for a strong finish? Or I could simply stick with my two remaining QBs and pick up a WR/RB. Thanks! (10-team, nonkeeper, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 1 K&D)

Available QBs:

- Joey Harrington

- Trent Green

- Aaron Brooks

- Steve McNair

- Charlie Frye

- Matt Leinart

- Alex Smith

Available RB/WR:

- Matt Jones

- Rod Smith

- Drew Bennett

- Joe Jurevicius

- Noah Herron

- Troy Williamson

My roster:

QB - Bledsoe, Plummer, Culpepper

RB - L.Johnson, S.Jackson, F.Gore, K.Jones, B.Jacobs, J.Norwood

WR - Holt, Wayne, L.Evans, B.Edwards

TE - L.J. Smith, Watson

K - Longwell

D - San Diego

Leinart & Smith Have a big upside. Either Bledsoe or Plummer are good starts this week.

I have the same problem and just posted my own thread regarding this. I'd drop him for Leinhart because he has the most WR weapons and had a nice first fantasy start last week. Pull the trigger

I never fell into the C'pepp hype and I'm glad I didn't. I would probably try to trade him first of all. If there are no takers, then gamble on either Frye Smith or Leinert. Your other options at QB will be ok the rest of the year or at least better than C'pepp.

Thanks for answering mine.

I would drop CPep for Leinart. You can ride on Plummer and Bledsoe based on weekly match up, and keep Leinart for long term or a trade bait after he has a big week.

Thnks for mine.

I don't think Smith is a good option for week 6, but he is turning into a first rate QB. Lienhart and Frye would be my next choices, in that order. Several people are saying start Plummer and that could be an option - I haven't looked closely at that game. By next week though, I think you'd be more comfortable with Smith and Lienhart on your roster and cutting all your current QB's. You could pick up either Herron or Bennett and flesh out your bench.
