Puntarelli 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Until I saw the following news blurb, I thought Reggie Williams would be a strong start this week. Now I'm thinking Lee Evans would be a better choice. Any thoughts on who to start? From ESPN.com After missing Friday's practice with a sore left ankle, Leftwich was added to the Jaguars injury report as "questionable" for Sunday's game in Houston, the Jaguars' official site reports. Spin: "He didn't practice today. He'll get an MRI this afternoon. He came in today and (Leftwich's ankle) was swollen and sore," Del Rio said following Friday's practice. David Garrard took Leftwich's place with the Jags' first-team offense in practice on Friday. *edit From Yahoo.com: Oct 20 Jacksonville Jaguars QB Byron Leftwich (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 after not practicing Friday, Oct. 20. The team said he left the building Thursday, Oct. 19, with no problems but could barely walk on his ankle Friday morning. He is going to have an MRI done on the injury and his status for Week 7 is uncertain.
irish2007 0 Posted October 20, 2006 i still like reggie despite the possibility of losing leftwich. it's houston, man. the texans are giving up over 275 a game in the air, and can't stop anyone. with a good running game, and no matt jones, i think reggie will stay the #1 target regardless of who is throwing the ball. dutchbuffalo 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I think Jax may run a whole lot but Williams should be ok, as a Bills homer I like Evans but not if I can play Williams.

sbc 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I'd still go with Williams too, many reasons listed above... sorry to be unoriginal! Thanks for your input on mine.
