Return of the King 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I have the first waiver pick in our league. Right now Seattle is my def. Should I waste the first waiver pick on the New York Giants. The Giants def. have looked great the last 2 weeks. Should I burn the #1 waiver pick on a defense? Leave link will help

Leave link will help NYG has Tampa and Houston coming up at home...they should perform at least above average for you for those games, and you can drop them before the Bears game if they don't. However, using a #1 waiver pick on them is iffy, I can't be sure the difference between them and Seattle would be worth the pick. Do you really think anyone else will use a pick on them? Tough call...without knowing more I'd risk waiting until the second waivers are posted and hope they're still there. Good luck and thanks for reading mine. Fran Sharkenton 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I agree, I don't think the difference is that much, both have good schedules Giants: Buccaneers Texans Bears @ Jaguars @ Titans Cowboys @ Panthers Eagles Saints @ Redskins Seahawks: @ Chiefs Raiders Rams @ 49ers Packers @ Broncos @ Cardinals 49ers Chargers @ Buccaneers I would look to address another roster spot first

Sidd 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I'd hang onto the waiver spot in case someone makes a mistake.... sometimes mid-season people unload players that have underachieved, and it could potentially be worth much more than the Giants def. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247502
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I would not use a waiver right on a DEF. Who knows you may need it for other more important positions in the future. I think DEF's scores fluctuate a lot each week. Here's mine.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247504
