Berrian for Favre?

Recommended Posts

Im in a 13 team non-keeper league, yes 13 teams.

My lineup is pretty solid with the exception of my WR2.

Peyton

K. Jones

Gore

Holt

Lee Evans

Crumpler

Kaeding

Cards

Bench:

Favre

Brad Johnson

Davenport

Addai

Keyshawn

Furrey

QUESTION:

I am being offered Berrian for favre straight up. He has Hasselbeck. Peyton will be my starter the rest of the year regardless of matchup. I love berrian but is he an upgrade over Evans, Keyshawn and Furrey. Im leaning towards YES!!

Any help is appreciated.

With Peyton as your starter, I would probably do it. Berrian has strong potential, and is definitely an upgrade over Furrey, probably even Keyshawn. If the other guy is really desperate, I might even fish around for something more, since a QB/WR trade straightup seems a little uneven, but that could just be me. Btw, thanks for the advice with my question...

I would say it is an ok trade but what other WR does he have, i think favre is a little more valuable then berrian just because hes never done it for a full year. Also furrey isnt that bad he should have a good game this week vs the NYJ

Thanks for answering mine.

I say go for it too. You're replacing someone who will never crack your starting lineup with someone you can start right away. It balances out your team nicely.

I would take this trade as well. You are definately more likely to start Berrian then Favre. In this position I would prefer depth at WR, since there is zero chance of benching Peyton (pending injury).

In terms of value I would consider this an even trade and beneficial to your line-up.
