Couple wk 8 decisions

Recommended Posts

N.O. vs Balt Question: Play Bush over Cadillac vs NYG? Colston(TE) over Shockley vs TB? (not currently planning to play Bush or Colston because of matchup). Pt 2: *IF* I play Bush, do I keep Reggie Brown @ W/R or bench him for Cadillac? (Brown is probably the DUH answer, just checking)

Second Question: Is Cadillac Williams worth dropping for Travis Henry? And before you ask everyone in my league has better RB's, no chance of a trade. I've been trying to pimp him out for awhile combined with Keyshawn Johnson for a solid RB and nobody will touch him (even though many are anemic @ WR). I *could* drop Reggie Bush for Henry, but this is a PPR league and since Breese uses him as an extra receiver he makes me good points whenever I end up playing him (unlike Cadillac who puts up a very marginal 7-10 pts per week)

Thanks for the help....

1) I would say Caddy vs Giants...running games will be huge in this game b/c it will be VERY windy in NJ tomorrow. Plus, I think Balt D will have a price on Mr. Bush's head tomorrow!

2) Would hold onto Caddy. T Henry is fragile and I still believe the Titans give the ball to Lendale here soon to "go w/ the future"

Good luck.

Since it's a PPR league, I'd go with Bush. Wind will have minimal effect on short dumpoff passes. I realize who he's facing however they seem to be slipping a bit.

Don't drop either for Henry.

Thanks for mine!

id go w/caddy too unless u get pts for return yds

then maybe bush against a struggling baltimore offense that should punt often

i hav cadillac on my team too and im not sure about starting him or randy moss

1 - start Caddy, Bush won't see many openings against Bal - Shockey would be the better play.

2 - I would find someone else to drop for him

Nobody else to drop...Cadillac is pretty much the weak link on my team except maybe Shockley since I have Colston available as a TE in this league...but I can't dump him yet because at the very least I need him wk 9 @ TE with Colston at WR to cover a bunch of Byes

I'm just down on him I guess...I'm weak at RB (Jones was a recent trade for me) and not completely sold on Dunn as my #2 back (he's largely gotten lucky) Plus I just hate seeing everyone else outproduce me at RB then barely scrape a win based on Chi D or Smith having a freak 200yd game or Shockley pulling 6 for 55 and 2 TDs

If I could just get 1 more really solid RB into my team I'd have at least a shot at winning my league, as it is now I'm week to week just hoping I can pull a weak opponent in the league playoffs and try to hit a runner up slot - I'm hurting this week and next on Byes

Start Caddy. That matchup is brutal for Bush, Baltimore is #2 in rush YPG defense.

Don't drop him.

You mentioned having worse RBs than the rest of your league. You are loaded at WR with Holt and Smith. Trade one of them if you want to upgrade.

Thanks for the reply.

If I could get a Westbrook or LT or Larry Johnson I'd think about trading Smith or Holt...but nobody in my league seems to respect WRs so I'm getting offers of like T. Jones or W. Parker for them...and while those guys are good RB's they're deffinately worth a Smith or Holt trade...I've tried to put Keyshawn Johnson or Reggie Brown together with Bush or Cadillac for a RBs in the C. Taylor/F. Gore range, but again, even though some of these trades would be mutually beneficial giving both sides more points every week nobody's buying...instead they waiver swap their so/so WRs and just generally play dumb carrying 2 kickers or 2 Def through the entire season...

I'd go with Caddy. Even with the way the Giants defence has been playing lately, Tampa Bay will still be rushing the ball a lot tomorrow with the weather conditions in NY and he should have a few good runs.

Same as everybody else. Start Shockey and Cadilac because of the matchups. you dont want to play those guys against baltimore. You should not drop Cadillac for Henry if you can, but I would definetly get Henry.

Question on mine, you responded to mine no chance. Does that mean no chance of giving away portis for jones? You think I should keep portis?

Definetly go with KC. Its pretty much a coinflip between the other two, both up them playing high offenses with a ton of weapons. I would probably go with Atlanta because of Cincys o line. I would definetly drop atlanta for the jags.

And I'd keep Caddy over Henry

I agree Go with CW. And I wouldn't pick up Henry unless is has a above average game and someone on your team gets hurt.

Start Caddy. Unless it's PPR.

Then, I'd start Colston over Shockey. I think it could go good either way, but Colston has a better oppurtunity since he's a WR (why hasn't Yahoo fixed this?)

Don't drop Caddy. Watch Travis this week. Titans are still expecting to use Lendale White, so Henry might lose his goaline carries.

Thanks for answring mine
