dparsons02 0 Posted October 30, 2006 I am thinking about trading away Rudi Johnson, Javon Walker, and Jaxonville D for Brian Westbrook and Baltimore D. I guess there are two big questions with this trade: 1) Will Westbrook remain healthy and continue to produce? 2) Is Rudi's slide going to continue? Thanks for the help and as always I'll answer yours so please post a link.
siorestech 0 Posted October 30, 2006 This trade looks lopsided against you at first glance, but I think I would do it as long as you can afford to lose Javon Walker. Westbrook has a better schedule than Rudi who has to play Baltimore twice still. Getting Baltimore's D is a great upgrade too. Thanks for the help.
ffyaheard 0 Posted October 30, 2006 I think Rudi will continue to slip, and Westbrook has shown no signs of sputtering - except this weekend. Sounds like a good trade to me. ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 30, 2006 I would not make the trade. Though Rudi's unproductive run has been frustrating, Westbrook's injury problems will even cause more headache to you. Thanks for helping with mine.
Cjt727 0 Posted October 30, 2006 I like it. Over all Baltamores going to do better than Jacksonville on defence. As long as your gonna be fine without Rudi ( especially with Westbrook's buy next week) then I say go for it.
joeyt7 1 Posted October 30, 2006 If u can do it id take westbrook over rudi http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=249335
A Dido Brother 0 Posted October 31, 2006 I'd take the deal if you can afford to lose Walker at WR. Baltimore is a bigtime upgrade - they won the day for me last Sunday, and won at least 2 other Sundays for me. Westie is a big question mark so make sure you have decent reserves... Thanks for mine...
Illini4evr 0 Posted October 31, 2006 You'd be upgrading at both RB and Def. while basically sacrificing a WR. If you have other solid WR then do it. Everyone has been talking about Westy's injury status but let us not forget that he has only missed 1 game and has been outperforming most RB's completely. Plus the Ravens D is huge (they outscored the Bears D this week 25 to 17 in our league). Westy will be fine for the rest of the season (poor saps who traded him away) and with the bye week he should come back very healthy and ready to go, do it.
