I play in a td & combined yardage league. We start 3 rb's 3 wr's 1 qb 1 pk 1 def

 

 

Here's my roster :

 

QB- E. MANNING, BREES

 

RB - LT, R. BROWN, J.JONES, M. TURNER, L. WASHINGTON, D. WILLIAMS

 

WR - OWENS, COLSTON, JENNINGS, BURRESS & C. HENRY

 

Our tading deadline is coming up on week 10 and I'm trying to get ready for the stretch run.

 

My concern is for week 10 when the NY Giants play Da Bears, I'm not expecting much from Burress or Eli.

 

Brees is playing at Pitt, weather & Def could be a factor.

 

The deal on the table is this:

 

I trade Owens & Brees for Kitna & Roy Williams

 

Detroit plays SF at home on week 10 & ARZ on the road at week 11,

 

NY Giants plays CHI (H) & JACK (A)

NO plays Pitt (A) & Cinn (H)

 

Eli is my regular starter but it looks like Kitna could be golden for weeks 10 & 11. What do you all think ?

I wouldn't. But I'm always hesitant to trade for QB/WR teammates. Looks like the ones you're trading are solid

No way. Owens gets more targets than anyone in the league and is now plying with a mobile QB while Brees and Kitna are practically a wash. You do not gain anything on this deal.
