Upgrading RB

Recommended Posts

Looking to upgrade my RB2 before the trade deadline goes by. Starting roster requirements: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE.

My Team:

QB: Bulger, Favre

RB: S-Jax, Dillon, McAllister, Leon

WR: Colston, Driver, Fitz, R. Moss, Braylon

TE: Gates

His Team:

QB: Kitna, Frye, Roeth

RB: LJ, McGahee, Gore

WR: Marvin, Berrian, Wilford, Curtis

TE: Heap, A. Smith

Fitz/McAllister or Dillon for Gore:

Is this a balanced trade? Should I attempt it, or go with what I've got?

TIA, will answer yours.

I'm not sure I would give up Fitz right now. He's coming back this week (or so they say) and we haven't seen what he can do with Lienart behind center yet. San Fran's O-line just isn't consistent enough for me to invest two high quality players (especially not Dillon and Fitz) for Gore. If you have some options on the waiver wire, like Wali Lundy, Mike Bell or Marion Barber, I would try to go that route instead. This trade, I think, has too much potential to be bad for you.

What the trade?

in the thread subtitle (should have re-stated): Fitz/McAllister or Dillon for Gore.

I know it is a lot to potentially give up. There isn't squat left on the WW (all mentioned are gone). Top RB left is laMont Jordan. And after that, it's Ladell Betts.
