bauman88 0 Posted November 14, 2006 Here is my deal. I am 6-4 in a ten man league. I am currently in 4th place. The top 4 make the playoffs. The teams above me are 8-2, 7-3, 7-3. There is a team in 5th that is also 6-4 and the guy in 6th is 5-5. Its a pretty tight race. I am playing one of the guys that are 7-3 this week, I play the guy tied with me next week and the guy at 5-5 the week after. we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, Def here is my squad: What should I do? QB Favre Kitna Romo RB Gore A. Green A. Thomas S. Alexander WR S. Smith Roy Williams A. Boldin L. Evans A. Bryant TE Colston K Wilkins Def NE Any thoughts on improvements would be much appreciated!!! I'll answer.
Sux2butoo 0 Posted November 14, 2006 I would trade Kitna now that you can get good deals for him. Romo and Favre have easy playoff schedules. It could not hurt to try to get a new defense and perhaps a new WR to make the choice easier. I would not change much more than that, maybe try for more long term RBs, Gore may be injured and Thomas will be gone by week 13 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=253396
YesNoMaybe 0 Posted November 14, 2006 if you can get a quality RB for Kitna do it.....other than that you're looking good come playoff time. Especially with Colston as a TE (i hate yahoo).
nosferatu9368 0 Posted November 14, 2006 Gore will be fine but i'd still try and add a RB, Try and offer Kitna & Lee Evans for a back other than that you look ok, maybe another Defense as New England don't score much. Good Luck Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=253423 Peace...
PatriotsNation4 0 Posted November 14, 2006 Your team is solid other than ur defense and ur RB unless SA comes back this week. I would look to package a deal with favre and one of ur WR to get a better D and another solid RB
bugman 0 Posted November 14, 2006 i agree your team is pretty nice man, if kitna can be traded along with bryant or evans for a decent back do it. patriots d should be decent here down the strecth, and should be hungry after losing two consecutive games. thanks for reply
Dol-Fan 0 Posted November 14, 2006 I would use Kitna and NE to pick up a STUD defense. I think dominant D's are point stealers bro.
enoto 0 Posted November 14, 2006 I agree with the RB situation, trade a QB (Kitna) and maybe Evans or Bryant for a better RB for the playoffs Thanks for mine
granta_05 3 Posted November 14, 2006 I agree with most everyone else...Try to deal Kitna and a WR for a RB if you can. Thanks for mine.
eb122 0 Posted November 15, 2006 Man I would say stay as you are as any trades you make will probably help the teams u r fighting to make the playoffs against more so then yourself. Your team is stacked and here is a little info for ya.. QB Favre Kitna Romo Man u have 3 mid level solid choices here. Romo has been great and Favre is going to be top notch the next few weeks and into the playoffs with GB's easy schedule. You could definitly trade one of these guys for a solid RB or WR but do you really need one and do u really want to help another team? RB Gore A. Green A. Thomas S. Alexander Gore is a top 5-7 RB now esp in PPR leagues. Shaun should be back in the next two weeks and with all the rest he may be a huge factor come end of season and playoffs. Solid starters. In the mean time u got Atrain and Green with pretty nice schedules to fill the wholes. If there is a spot you could get a little help in it is here at RB, but I think u r solid still. WR S. Smith Roy Williams A. Boldin L. Evans A. Bryant Wow another solid WR crew with SS and Roy definite starters every week and Boldin should pick it back up with Evans and Bryant close behind. Solid!! TE Colston Do I even have to say anything. This guy is a freak!!! K Wilkins He is doable and should get you through ok but u may find a better option on the Wire as the Rams may have trouble scoring and moving the ball with all their injuries Def NE NE is not playing any defense right now so you could wire a new surprising defense like even OAKLAND or get one in a trade. But u cant give up much for a Defense so why bother.. All in all a solid squad and maybe a small improvement on special teams or RB could help but not needed. Take it to the top and good luck!! bauman88 0 Posted November 15, 2006 I have been offered James for Boldin good?
Lando 0 Posted November 15, 2006 You have a good team! I would suggest trying to improve your def , trying to move 1 QB and 1 WR for an upgrade at RB. Other than that, there is not a whole lot you can do. Infuse some luck into the lineup, haha
