Trade Help

I've clinched a berth and I'm currently in 2nd place with 3 weeks before playoffs start. I usually start Stephen Jackson (not Alexander, like it said) and Chester Taylor at RB and Driver at WR. I then rotate between S. Moss, R. Moss, and A. Bryant for the remaining two spots.

 

A guy has offered me two trades: 1) Terry Glenn for Ladell Betts 2) Terry Glenn and Lee Evans for Maurice Jones-Drew.

 

The 1st trade is crap but the 2nd has me thinking maybe I should try to upgrade my WRs for one of the extra RBs that I probably won't play. The guy trading me is in dead last and has virtually no chance of making the playoffs unless he wins 3 straight. His other WRs are Javon Walker, Tory Holt, and Muhammed.

 

Any ideas of what might be a fair offer to him if I gave up Betts or Jones-Drew? If I wait a week and Betts blows up, I might be able to get more but if he flops and Duckett gets more carries...

I hope you mean Shaun Alexander at RB or Steven Jackson??

 

The only WR's he could legitamately give you w/o collusion is Glenn or Mushy....I would shoot for Mushy and give Jones - Drew at this point. Is there anyone else out there desperate for a RB that has better WR's to offer??

There is a guy with Larry Johnson but his 2nd RB is weak: T. Bell, Turner, or Barlow. He has Boldin, Owens, Housh, and Joe Horn.

Well that make more sense....

 

I like TJ Housh or Joe Horn over the other guys WR's. I would shoot for one of them 1st. Maybe wait a week to see if Betts has a big game and trade high unless the other guy feels really desperate. I would 1st offer Betts for Housh and see what he says.
