Cjt727 0 Posted November 20, 2006 I give Frank Gore , I get Ravens defence. Gore's been on fire lately, but with Steven Jackson and Brian Westbrook I really don't play him much...even with Jackson's awful fantasy points this week. Only real problem is that I'd have to drop one of my defences for recieving the Ravens (Max in league is 2). I have NYG and Chiefs right now.
ECS 0 Posted November 20, 2006 No way hed take J. Jones instead? I really like gore and I think he continues to rip it up, with the rams losing pace I really think that takes away from their O, running and passing as seen this sunday. Of course CAR has a tough D, but personally id see if he takes J. Jones first, and then maybe even S. Jackson.....

I traded Gore and Pitt for Ravens and Ahman Green. I don't even have the depth you do and I did that. It seems crazy to some people, but in my league, the Ravens have put up much more fantasy points than Gore. I think Defenses steal points and Gore is still not finding the endzone
OffMe 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Depends what your scoring system is and is there a playoff and where is he. Sometimes It helps to have great depth because no one else is using him. Also what is your scoring system, in my ESPN league both are avg the same amount of points (until this past weekend) Ravens can be scored on and have some tough division games coming up, where Gore has some nice match ups. I would do it if it could not come back to haunt you i.e. the other team will not make the playoffs. I would NOT do it if his team could make the playoffs and Gore could knock you off. (plays GB, @SEA, ARZ in the playoffs) or If it is a points leauge and he is anyway able to catch you. My Link
silliman9 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Gore is good for yards, but he often fumbles...especially at the the goalline...Baltimores D is one of a kind. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=254952
sb2232 0 Posted November 21, 2006 I'd rather give up Jackson than Gore at this point given the Ram's offensive struggles, but with your depth I think it's okay, since you get a huge upgrade at D.
