Boomer is a Homer 0 Posted August 21, 2007 ok, 12 team keeper non PPR league. Scoring is as follows: Each Team had 3 keepers and had to forfiet corresponding pick for that player which is why some teams will look terrible. All TDs 6 pts .02 Per Passing Yd .05 Per Rushing/Recieving Yard -2 for Fumbles/Ints FG's 30yd or less 3 pts, 40-49 4 pts, 50+ 5 pts and XP 1 pt, no penalty for misses Starter are QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,TE,K with limits to bench spots (max 3 QBs, Max 4RBs, Max 4 WRs, Max 2 TEs) with 7 total bench spots. This was a non snake draft also this is an IDP league but Im not going even try to waste time on all that so just let me know offensively where I rank,... bdaddy407 0 Posted August 21, 2007 T. Henry I still feel is a big gamble this year. Every claims he is going to do well, I just don't think he will hold up injury wise. I like McGahee, and I think Jones will have a great year! You stacked up on both WR/TE's and Romo should do well, but your QB bench is too weak. ALl in all you drafted real well! You got a playoff team for sure! Thanks for my post!
Mike Damone 14 Posted August 21, 2007 I can't see why you wouldn't be competetive with that team. I'm expecting BIG things from Romo this year. He's not quite polished yet but he'll get there. With Henry and McGahee in the backfield, you're solid at RB. With the potential for a huge year for Julius Jones. I don't have to tell you that. You're deep at WR. You have the best TE in the league and a kicker. I like it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280901

Yea i feel the same way about Henry and for that matter think Mcgahee is a risk too but it is a keeper league and those were my best outs, i would have only kept 1 and tried to draft another but there were a total of 22 RBs kept so options were limited. I like Romo but know he is a risk and Manning doesnt make me feel better. But Manning, Palmer, Brees, Bulger, Brady were all kept and the best Qbs in the draft were Hasselbeck and Rivers and I didnt want to reach for them, We shall see. Thanks! I'm hoping Manning will have a good year for the both of us. I think Peterson has the potential to be a top 5 RB, too. Good luck!

First off, thanks for responding. I like the look of your team compared to everybody elses. Henry and McGahee are slight risks, but there are bigger worries than those two. They will get the ball ALOT. Plus, with JJ and Peterson you have some good replacements. I think Romo will have a very good if not great year and Eli is a great #2. S Smith is a top 4 WR and paired with Gates is going to be brutal on your opponents. Burress will be solid especially in the red zone and you know th G men will pass more without Barber. I hope Clayton does what is expected of him as a breakout third year WR, but if he doesn't Berrian is a great replacement. Hopefully you only have to play him one week, but I like Pollard as a deep sleeper as well.

Just dissappointed cause Fitz went about 2 picks before burress, Fitz and Smith would have been real nice. Otherwise I got pretty much all my targets. As long as either Willis or Travis step up to a legit #1 I should be OK. I like Peterson for the Long Term, we are a keeper league and it will only cost my my 7th Rd pick next year to keep him, so maybe Taylor will get cut or something, i can only hope. e13169 0 Posted August 22, 2007 I think you have a good team overall, my only concern is T. Henry because of his injury history. If A. Peterson wins the starting job for the Vikings, that would greatly improve your Rb situation. Please check my rate my team topic.
