best way to score a defense/special teams

1st. year commish needs help. 12 team redraft, 1pt per reception. Not sure how many points to start with and take off for yardage/ pionts against. Any help would be appreciated.

Alot of leagues Ive seen just do something like this with points against for DEFENSE:

 

0 points allowed = 10 pts

1-6 pts allowed = 7 pts

7-13 pts allowed = 4 pts

14-20 pts allowed = 1 pt

21-27 pts allowed = 0 pts

28-34 pts allowed - -1 pt

35+ pts allowed = -4 pts

 

But you can shape it however you want. This is in a pretty standard scoring league with 1 point for 10 yards rush/rec, 1 point for 25 pass, 6 pt TDs, no ppr, etc.

Ours is:

 

TD by defense, punt return, or kick return = 7 pts.

Sack = 1 pt.

Interception = 3 pts.

Fumble recovered = 3 pts.

Shutout = 10 pts.

Under 100 yards total offense allowed = 10 pots.
