Trading for Frank Gore

Steve Smith, Torry Holt, Willis McGahee, Vernon Davis

 

I kind of tossed some names around to another player in my league and he seemed open to trading Gore. I know that this trade looks lopsided at the start, it's basically my 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks for Gore and some mid to low grade players. The reason I am considering it is this: Delhomme looks weak so I am starting to question what that means for Smith, and I am getting skittish because of Holt's surgically repaired knee.

 

So this trade would give me a second stud at RB, a third option at QB since I don't have a star, a fourth RB starter, and I still have "ok" players at WR.

Does having L.T. and Gore each week make up for what I am losing at WR? I don't feel like my WR's would be left in horrible condition in comparison. What do you think?

That's giving up an awful lot for Gore. I would not make that deal.

No no no. Might as well give him Tomlinson if your looking to trade away your entire team. Never make that deal, the other guy will surely bring in the championship if you do

Nope, don't do it. It weakens you too much at WR.

 

I like Peterson/Randy Moss MUCH better at flex than Jordan/S Moss.

Thanks all for your opinions. I can see now that I was willing to give up too much and wasn't filling my needs as much as I first thought.
