CBS Injured reserve question.

Recommended Posts

Is there a way on CBS to only allow players with a certain status on the IR. Our rule is if player is doubtful or worse then player can go on IR and has to stay there for the week. When the league was on MFL I know I could set that limitation.

There is a way with the commish league but it does not work for some reason. I have it checked to only allow players that are on IR to be put in injured status but you can put anyone in there at anytime so it does not work for me. There is no way to set it for doubtful or more I guess you have to have a honesty rule throughout the league which kinda sucks. I was trying to figure it out too so if you find out more pass it along to me.

No you can't. You have to manually monitor it. Our rule is "doubtful" or "out" status to be eligible to move to IR. But nothing in the software prevents you from moving anyone to IR.

It's an issue we're facing in our league. Seems like on CBS you can put any player on IR in that roster spot.

If someone figures it out on how to limit that with settings on CBS, please post.

i have the same rule for 1 injured person on the roster if they are doubtful or out on the injury report.

wed, thurs, fri & sat as long as i see an add/drop occuring i check to make sure there was both an add and a drop from that team.

caught one guy once on a wed pick a guy up and have 1 extra on the bench as injured when he was questionable not doubtful or out. and i made that rule clear earlier.

so i gave him a warning, it was mid-week. if it happens again, he will be docked points.

any illegal rosters on gameday=0 points.

but yeah, just figure out a way to monitor, i tend to go by add drops. just browse through the transaction report and you will find out quickly. takes 5 minutes a day tops.
