BringBackBernie 0 Posted September 30, 2007 News: According to ESPN, Giants RBs Derrick Ward (knee, questionable) and Brandon Jacobs (knee questionable) will both be out for Week 4 vs. Philadelphia. Rueben Droughns is expected to start in their place. Analysis: Start making lineup changes accordingly. Jacobs will likely be ready to go for Week 5 vs. the Jets, but Ward's Fantasy usefulness is about to take a big hit. He likely won't be the main running back again while Jacobs is healthy. He has, however, carved out enough of a niche for himself while Jacobs has been out to be used more than lightly the rest of the way. It looks like you'll have to reserve both Jacobs and Ward. Droughns can be used as a bye-week or replacement. He'll have absolutely no competition for all the carries now. Since ESPN is a joke, I would appreciate hearing from a few Giants fans to reinforce this news.
