whiteknight 0 Posted October 5, 2007 OK, which 2 RB's would you start this week... I have Bush, Sammy Morris, Jacobs and Ward, and MJD I am thinking Bush as one, simply because he is getting the full workload this week. I'm not starting MJD until I see him do something... this is where it gets a little difficult for me...morris has been solid, and this week they play the browns...OR, do I go with one of the giants RB's vs. the Jets, but I keep reading different articles about who will get the workload, jacobs or ward... ?????? please leave you link...thanks
big D 0 Posted October 5, 2007 I like Bush and Morris. vote on mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293640
ChickenLittle 0 Posted October 5, 2007 in order 1. Bush 2. Morris 3. Ward If Maroney is healthy I prefer Ward over Morris. Sammy might get some TD chances, but I think ward is going to more overall chances against the weak jets
oban14 0 Posted October 5, 2007 I agree to start with Bush. I would monitor Maroney's status - if he's out, then definitley Morris. If he's in or you don't know, I would go with Ward... Tough call with the Giants although it's always nice to go against the Jets run defense. Please get mine, thanks: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293648
ThatAlexGuy 0 Posted October 5, 2007 It sounds like Ward isn't going to get as many carries as Ward, but obviously Jacobs isn't going to get the full workload. From what I've heard, they will use Ward primarily between the 20's and a receiver out of the backfield and Jacobs as their redzone and short back, who will get the goaline carries. I think if anything, Jacobs has more value this week. Aside all this, if Maroney is out, get Morris in your starting lineup ASAP. If Maroney is in, Morris will probably get 8-10 carries and the goaline touches. Cleveland has been playing pretty bad against the run, and one of those backs is probably going to have a breakout day. But maybe the Patriots will give Morris the cold shoulder should Maroney play? Who knows, really, this is really a toss up/ I think you would be safer here going with Morris this week, as with Jacobs we just don't know yet. I mean, he could have a great game, but it's just so unpredictable. Just keep yourself updated, and if you can find out any information on Maroney's groin and how the Giants plan to run the ball, that's great.
despleyj 0 Posted October 6, 2007 i agree with Oban, Bush is a definite start and i would go with Marooney if he is healthy cuz he may run all over clevland. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...w_post&f=
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 6, 2007 Bush for one.. then it's toss up between Jacobs and Morris. Well, I would wait until it's clear whether Jacobs gets most of the carries. So, go with Morris, especially if Maroney sits again this week.. Thanks for helping me..
disasterbation 0 Posted October 6, 2007 Bush definately and then id say Morris but look at Maroneys status closely. If Maroney starts then I say Jacobs. Help me out too! =) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293658
