Gates for KJones, McMichael

I am in desperate need of a RB, and just got offered this for Gates.

 

Kevin Jones, Randy McMichael, and Reggie Williams

 

Standard scoring. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def

 

My Team:

QB: Kitna

RB: LJ, T Henry, Young, CTaylor, DWilliams, Kolby Smith, Ron Dayne

WR: S. Smith, Colston, Edwards, Chambers, Walters

TE: Gates

K: Folk

Def: Titans

 

His Team:

QB: Brees

RB: Bush, KJ, Jacobs, C Henry

WR: Boldin, Curtis, DJax, Brand, Davis, Reggie WIlliams

Te: McMichael, King

K: Vinatieri

DEF: Bills, Giants

 

Am I not getting enough for Gates in this trade? I would be taking a serious hit at TE... but right now my starting runningbacks are Travis Henry and Chester Taylor (ouch).

 

Anything I could counter with? Gates would have to be involved if I'm to trade with this guy.

McMichael and Williams are both garbage so the deal is really KJ for Gates. If you weren't so hurting at RB, I would say don't do it but your situation is extreme (Chester Taylor!!!!).

 

I would do it but see what it would take for you to get Selvin Young from whoever has him so you can ensure having 2 RBs this year.

There has to be a better trade out there. But if you must, do the trade. I have a feeling McMichael will be better during the last part of the season.

 

I would rather see a stud RB for Gates tho....

Well I have Young.

 

Is there any way you think I could Land Jacobs and KJones from him for something like Gates+Henry+Young ?

It isn't ideal and I would try to get one of the other receivers as JAX will not do much in the air. Also a consideration is any possible TE's on the waiver wire. Try to see what others might give you for Gates to up the ante.
