mason5 0 Posted November 9, 2007 I need a little help this week at my wide reciever spot. We start three wide recievers (like most leagues) not a PPR - 6 pts. TD, 1 pt. every 25 yrds. I have: P. Burress S. Holmes D. Mason R. Williams J. Walker (out) I am starting Burress and Holmes for sure. My question is do I start Mason or Williams. Mason has the better match up but not many TD coming his way. Williams is playing against a top 10 pass defence and Detroit has forgotten to throw the ball of late. The reason why I am asking this is because if you look at Arizona's numbers they do have a good pass defense but they let the number one reciever score on them like nobodies business. Please help I do not know what to do!!!!!
tallkris3 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Forget the Pass D in AZ. As long as McNair is starting in Balt Mason is only valuable in a PPR league. There is zero vertical game in Balt. Based off recent games... Mason has gotten you 2-3 points a game and Roy has gotten you 1-2 points a game. Who's got greater potential? Roy... I think Roy's potential is well worth the 1 point gamble.

Mason isn't desirable enough an alternative to sit Williams. Please see mine, thanks! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301047
