Does Waiver Wire lock on Thursday / Saturday if there is a game?

We have an open waiver wire system in our league and are thinking transferring to the Yahoo waiver system where it locks on Sunday right before gametime and then opens up on tuesday morning.

 

One question we had when there are weeks with games on thursday / saturday does it lock from that Thursday all the way until the tuesday night game?

 

I think that's stupid if that's the case, but the open waiver system is getting a little out of control.

We use CBS sportsline.

 

Its locks 5 mins before the Sunday games.

 

With Thursday and Saturday games, the players on NFL teams playing in those games lock 5 mins before their games start. So you cant drop a player that is playing or has played and you cant pick anyone up that is/ has played.

 

The system works well. Open WW is a zoo.
