It's really hard to say. Some players who have had the same injury as Freeney were never the same again while others were able to fully recover and play at the same level that they prior to their injury. Even if he is able to play like he has in the past, it's hard to say how many sacks he will get since he is routinely double team. This is why Mathis has had seasons where he has had a ton of sacks. A healthy Freeney creates opportunities for all the other players on that defense.
