JazzyJeff30 0 Posted September 1, 2008 $125.00 10 team redraft homeboy league. NO PPR. No negative points period. Standard Yardage scoring. 6pts all TDs. Draft really suprised me. I had the ninth slot and the first 8 picks were Rbs. In years past there would have been 2 Qbs and a WR gone by then. I usually draft "safe and proven" players IE: Rudi last year. I decided to try to take players with the most upside that became available. How did I do? QB: start 1 Cutler Young RB: start 2 MB III Kevin Smith Forte Rice Tatum Bell Sproles WR: start 2 Randy Moss Andre Johnson Santonio Holmes DeSean Jackson Ronald Curry TE: start 1 Winslow K: start 1 Crosby Def: start 1 Chargers
Foghorn Leghorn 0 Posted September 1, 2008 If the first 8 picks were RBs, consider yourself EXTREMELY fortunate you got MBIII at #9. A small concern with RB2 - this Rudi to Detroit talk may put a damper on K. Smith a bit. I might consider trading Andre Johnson (before he gets hurt) for a solid RB, as I think Holmes is already a strong WR2.
tazman01 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Not bad, QB like cutler, not sold on your backup Fortunate that MB went 9, I got him in 9 in another league but 2qbs and a wide went first. Light on RB but I've seen worse I like the wides, keep the fingers crossed on AJ and you are set Love Winslow and SD even when Marrian goes down should be fine Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321214
