Driver & Manning for T.O.

So this guy reckons he has the ultimate QB in Aaron Rodgers, and is looking to cash in by trading Peyton Manning. He's offering me Manning and Donald Driver, for Terrell Owens. Is Manning enough of an upgrade at QB, to cover the loss of T.O. to Donald Driver?

 

I've never been one to over-value QBs. The Waiver wire has a few options available - Garrard, Hasselbeck, J.T. O'Sullivan, Tarvaris Jackson - but maybe it's enough to find one decent matchup each week (unlimited Free Agency moves allowed). Perhaps I should wait until this weeks games have played out to get a better idea of the value of the QBs concerend?.

I would probably do it.

 

Manning can only get better (he has to) and your QB's are really not that good. Yes, losing TO will hurt a bit, but Driver will have some big games as well in that offense. Your WR will still be pretty good with Cotchery, Driver and Bowe (flex). The upgrade from Delhomme to Peyton will more than make up for the loss of Owens.

Grab O'Sullivan and/or Hasselbeck from the WW. Right now, O'Sullivan would be a good play and Hasselbeck has Branch/Engram returning soon, so should be back to more like his normal self in a few weeks.

 

If you insist on trying to get Manning, also try to get Driver and Forte as well.
