2bmayhem 1 Posted November 2, 2008 Without much discussion (none at our draft) our commish flipped the switch on for individual player RB, WR, and Flex player Special teams points (yardage and scoring) at the start of the year. Curious if any other leagues have this, and opinions what it does for guys value like D. Hestor, Leon Washington, and Steve Breaston. Now that Boldin is back, will Breaston go back to returning kicks, as well as punts? Does this strange rule keep his value at WR2 levels?
FantasyChick 0 Posted November 2, 2008 We do not but if we did guys like Reggie Bush would be ranked much higher. Those Bush TD's a few wees ago went as DST point sfor the Saints DST.

Now that Boldin is back, will Breaston go back to returning kicks, as well as punts? Does this strange rule keep his value at WR2 levels? Our league (along with a majority of leagues I have been involved with) has always allowed for individuals to collect points for scoring TDs on special teams. I think special teams yardage is a bit more rare, but I have seen it. What is the yardage breakdown on special teams to get points?
2bmayhem 1 Posted November 2, 2008 One point for every ten return yards. I picked up L. Washington this week as a result, and looking at Breaston who's now on our wire now that Boldin is back.
