skiman4235 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Cutler against KC is an excellent matchup (not that i needed to say that) RB Id say go D. Williams whose on fire as of recent and as long as portis is healthy id ride that horse. Jacobs shredded the Ravens so you know it can be done. MJD is a risky start every week as he either gets 30 or 3. WR- I know Wayne has been slow, but against Cincy you cant bench him. Your next choice is where it gets interesting. Berrian is a big play receiver, unfortunately he is high risk because of Minny's ability to run the football. Take his 99 yd bomb away last night, and he his mediocre night. Lance moore has been real good as of late, but Brees does like to spread it around. Id personally go with Walters. Rosenfels loves him and he def. gets the looks down in the red zone. Either Walters or Moore would be fine IMO TE- Keller K- Longwell he boots the long ones and I think Detroit tries to put up fight and maybe stops Minny's sputtering offense in FG range. D- Gotta go SD against Raiders. Im calling philly upset against NY, plus the Raiders are BAD. Hope this helps. ChiTownKev 0 Posted December 1, 2008 A few weeks ago, I would've said Portis hands down. Now? I'm not so sure. I might actually roll the dice on MJD. I know he's feast or famine, but the Bears are vulnerable against the run...witness Grant and Peterson (well, everyone's vulnerable against Peterson, but still). Portis has too many question marks. Injuries are a concern, as is Baltimore's D. I'd go with Williams and MJD. Wayne's been a little disappointing, but I'd expect him to bounce back against Cincy. Moore's on a hot streak...I wouldn't bench him, especially at home against a division rival. See how Walter does tonight...if he continues to play well, I might consider starting him over the other guys, strange as it may seem. Berrian had a good game yesterday, but I doubt Gus will need to throw too much...it'll be mostly Peterson shredding the Lions. Holmes is looking better, but you never know...Ward seems to be the only consistent receiver on that offense. Stick with Bryant at kicker...Longwell will be kicking mostly extra points. Bryant will be booting more field goals against a tougher D. For D, if you get negative points, might as well go with SD...Oakland's offense is worthless. Djurynk 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Cutler D. Williams Vs. TB MJD @ CHI Portis @ BAL is a NO WIN, RAVENS RUN D and Portis being banged up does not fair well. Wayne V. CIN L. Moore Vs. ATL B. Berrian @ DET to me as a #3 is a bit risky but your other two options to me are not consistent. Holmes seemed to have Ben's trust and in the burg IF Dallas can stop the run, Ben will spread the ball and Holmes is always a TD threat. D. Keller M. Bryant @ CAR More FG opportunities and a solid Kicking season SD Vs OAK (Leaning towards this?) GOOD LUCK
Need2Know 0 Posted December 2, 2008 thanks for the replies More input?
only a guess 0 Posted December 2, 2008 QB: you should be good with Cutler. Even though I hope you can find a back-up just in case RB: D.Williams is obvious. MJD is my 2nd since Portis is hurt and not the stud he was earlier. WR: Good options. The one that is OUT is Holmes. As for the other 4, Wayne is for sure, then my 2nd pick is L.Moore. Berrian looks to be a great start, but I would choose between your 3rd WR based on the weather ... yes, the weather. If the game vs Detroit is bad weather, AP and CTaylor will run all day and that is it. Kicker: go with the one with the better weather since both are good Defense: bias toward SD, but keep on track of where PHI is with RB health. thanks for mine. Zarko 0 Posted December 4, 2008 Williams and MJD Wayne, Berrian and Holmes Bryant San Diego IF Knapp is playcalling again... But we can't know that so SD seems the safer option.
