Trade Fitz for MJD?

PPR league. Basic scoring.

I have....

 

QB: Flacco

WR: Calvin, Fitz, Roddy, DeSean

RB: AP, Addai, Marshawn, Fred Jackson, Pierre, & Felix

TE: Witten

K: Akers

D: GB

 

I offered Roddy/Fred for MJD....they countered with Fitz for MJD.

 

I would like another solid RB to run with AP but I don't know if it's worth Fitz or not. Value wise...I believe it's a balanced trade but do I personally need MJD more than Fitz???

You do have good depth at WR/RB, and it is a pretty even trade. Can he throw in a RB4 with MJD? I wouldnt do it. I dont think you need him that much. I actually think MJD is overrated and wont last the season. JAX will run him into the ground. Keep Fitz!

Adding another wrinkle, expecting Warner to stay healthy again all season is pretty optimistic. And I think there's a decent drop off from Warner to Leinert. I would do it, personally.

True, but don't ya think that would leave me a little light on the WR side?

Like I said, I believe it is a fair trade offer, but wondering if it is worth it to me or not.

I would do the deal. The Madden curse is waiting to claim it's next victim. Don't be left holding the bag when Fitz goes down. Seriously though. The trade gives you two of the top 3 backs and you're still pretty good at WR and TE. With your added depth at RB you might have some trade bait wto go out and upgrade your WR or QB if needed.
