Recidivist 1 Posted November 17, 2009 Yeah, so last nite about 3:30am I realized I wasn't going to be sleeping what with having to be out the door before 7am. I get this bright idea to go and dig around my garage to see what was there (I was specifically looking for this cassette tape of a demo I made 20 years ago). I found it rather quickly, and it still had all the hallmarks of crappiness that I remembered when recording it (never use a drum machine). However, there were two unforseen treasures in this trove: a notebook of really shitty poetry I wrote from ages 17-19 ('90-'92) and a an unopened fifth of Courvosier - I swore off the brown liquors years ago (they make me crazy) but, as is fifth gets emptier, my poetry sounds better.
