Rookie Keeper!

My league does a 3 Round rookie draft in which you keep the players picked up to 5yrs. I have the #2 pick in the 1st round, figuring R. Matthews is going to be the #1 pick who should I take a #2? I am leaning toward D. Bryant... Trying to get an idea of what other people think.

If your leaning towards a WR I would go Arrelious Benn then maybe Bryant. Assuming Matthews is gone, Best could turn out to be a good one but could have Kevin Smith in the way. The main board has a list of the top 15 rookies that should help you.

Assuming that Ryan Matthews is gone, I'd probably rank them:

1. RB Jahvid Best

2. RB Montario Hardesty

3. WR Dez Bryant

4. RB C.J. Spiller

5. RB Ben Tate

6. WR Arrelious Benn

7. WR Golden Tate

8. WR Demaryius Thomas (project)

9. RB Dexter McCluster (project)

10. TE Jermaine Gresham

 

Really...I like a lot of these players long-term. If I were in your spot, I'd try to trade down a few picks (maybe to someone who really wants Bryant or Best) and pick up an extra draft pick.
